EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - The streets of downtown will busy with not just cars, but runners too, on Thanksgiving morning.

That’s because it’s the 36th annual Turkey Day 5K in downtown Evansville.

The event kicks off Thursday morning at 8 a.m. at the intersection of 6th and Walnut.

From there, the course heads down to Riverside Drive, where runners will go down to Shawnee Drive, then all the way up to Ohio Street and back.

So if you’re heading out this morning, be aware of road closures for the event.
