A Spandau Ballet icon has reportedly had to schedule his concerts around a "desperately needed operation" as he opened up about a painful health issue. In 2023, Tony Hadley , who shot to fame as the lead singer of the new wave band in the 1980s, reportedly had to pull out of a festival after suffering what he described as a "serious fall" during a trip to Italy.
As a result, he sustained a knee injury and underwent "major" surgery. He was also told to "minimise all travel" in an effort to avoid "complications".
