NASH COUNTY, N.C. —
Authorities say they have seized a large amount of cocaine from an adult care home in North Carolina.
On Tuesday, authorities followed up on a complaint about possible drug activity at 910 Nashville Road in Rocky Mount.
After deputies got a search warrant, they went into the home and said they saw Danny Lee Lawrence Jr. trying to flush drugs down a toilet.
Lawrence was taken into custody.
During the search, authorities said they found that the home had three patients with cognitive disabilites and was being used as an adult care home.
