From Memphis to Johnson City and across the state, Tennessee Highway Patrol troopers are out in force this Thanksgiving week, monitoring traffic and assisting motorists.

Officials are urging drivers to avoid speeding and reckless behavior as holiday travel reaches its peak.

THP says its goal is simple: to ensure every seat at the Thanksgiving table is filled. The agency is asking Tennesseans to make safety a priority so the holiday can be “full of peace and love” for families statewide.
