A lease-purchase agreement for a 2025 Horton 623 Ambulance with warranty, power loader and cot was approved recently by the Superstition Fire and Medical District Board of Directors.
The board voted 4-0 Nov. 19 to approve the agreement with Zions Bancorporation. Board Director Shawn Kurian was absent.
The total cost is $430,294.80, it states in the agreement.
In April 2022, a five-year replacement plan was presented and approved by the board, according to a memo to the board from SFMD Fire Chief John Whitney and Transportation Services Director Billy Warren.
