James have issued an apology as their planned events in Liverpool today were cancelled. The band, renowned for hits such as Sit Down and Laid, were due to play two acoustic sets at the Cavern Club in Liverpool on Thursday afternoon (November 27).

Tim Booth , Jim Glennie, Saul Davies and Mark Hunter from the band were also set to take part in a Q&A and sign copies of their album, Nothing But Love: The Definitive Best Of. They were also going to unveil a brick on the Cavern Wall of Fame in celebration of the band's 43 year history.
