A man was left injured after a flat fire in Coventry . It happened on Corporation Street this morning (November 27).
Firefighters from Coventry, Foleshill and Binley were called to a property at around 11.45am. Crews found that a fire had broken out in the kitchen after cooking was left unattended.
Responders found that the blaze had already been extinguished by the time they arrived. A man was found injured and taken to University Hospital Coventry .
In a statement to CoventryLive, West Midlands Fire Service said: “We responded to Corporation Street, Coventry , shortly before 11.45am on Thursday. Three fire engines and two 4x4 Brigade Response Vehicles responded, crewed by firefighters from Coventry, Foleshill and Binley .
