HE might have named an unchanged starting line-up for Sunderland’s last four matches, but Regis Le Bris expects to be making plenty of alterations as Sunderland head into a hectic December.
The Black Cats host Bournemouth on Saturday in a game that will kick off an action-packed month that will feature eight matches in the space of 36 days.
Sunderland head to Liverpool and Manchester City within seven days of hosting Bournemouth, and will also take on Newcastle, Brighton, Leeds and City again before the end of New Year’s Day.
To further complicate Le Bris’ selection decisions, up to seven players are set to leave for the Africa Cup of Nations in mid-December, meaning Sunderland’s squad depth will be tested more than at any other stage so far this season.
