It's a family favourite and an easy weekday meal that's both filling and delicious. Spaghetti bolognese is served up in households across the country weekly thanks to it's straightforward preparation.
And while you may believe you have the recipe for the dish nailed, a Michelin-starred chef says most of us serve it but omit an essential ingredient. Paul Foster said that it is, in fact, a traditional addition to a bolognese sauce.
Paul, was the proprietor of Salt eaterie, a fine-dining restaurant in Stratford-upon-Avon which held the Michelin star for six years, until its closure in May. He divulged his recipe for the perfect bolognese and said the key ingredient is milk.
