Celebrities are cooking, practicing gratitude and giving back this Thanksgiving.

Duchess Meghan and Prince Harry kicked off their Thanksgiving festivities early with their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.

Archie, 6, and Lilibet, 4, made a surprise appearance alongside the couple as they prepared and packaged meals for communities in Los Angeles ahead of the holiday. Meghan shared the family moment to her Instagram story Wednesday, Nov. 26. The social media posts show the royal kids rolling balls of dough on a packaging line with the caption, "Show up, do good."

The couple's Archewell Foundation partnered with Our Big Kitchen Los Angeles, a non-profit that supports schools, shelters, senior centers and other groups experiencing with food insecurity.

Dolly Parton shares Thanksgiving update

Dolly Parton has a cheerful message for fans after a difficult year.

"Well hey! It's Dolly here, and I want to wish all of you and your family blessing this Thanksgiving," Parton said cheerily in a video posted to Instagram Thursday, Nov. 27. "I am so thankful for all of you and for the memories that we've shared through the years."

She even nodded to one of her hit songs in her Thanksgiving message. "So happy Thanksgiving to everyone, and just know that I will always love you."

The legendary country star's message comes after a tumultuous year as she's grappled with ongoing health challenges following the death of her husband, Carl Dean.

"Wishing you and your family blessings this Thanksgiving," Parton wrote in the caption.

Martha Stewart's Thanksgiving includes baking 25 pies

Martha Stewart is no stranger to marathon holiday baking. After 2024's 35 pies (and a quick Thanksgiving jaunt to Italy), Stewart put together 25 pies this year, starting days in advance.

"Each pie is very American and my bedford staff chose quite evenly this year: 7 pecan 7 chocolate pecan 6 maple bourbon 6 pumpkin honey molasses Pie crusts (pate brisee made and chilling ready to be rolled )," Stewart wrote on Instagram earlier this week with a photo of a literal pie chart. "Done Shopping for filling ingredients done Pie plates and tart pans collected Schedule adjusted Will post progress !!!!!!!"

On Wednesday, Nov. 26, the lifestyle guru shared that her baking was complete, writing in the caption, "Pies boxed up for pick up many already on their way home!!!"

Multiple celebrities spent Thanksgiving week providing food for people in need.

David Arquette and singer Ron Pope volunteered with the Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee on Monday, Nov. 24, posing together for photos during a rainy day of packing pantry bags.

Actor Dulé Hill and his wife Jazmyn Simon helped put together food trays and kits of quintessential Thanksgiving classics Monday with Feeding America along at Los Angeles' Union Station Homeless Services.

Leighton Meester, along with Feeding America CEO Claire Babineaux-Fontenot, distributed turkeys Monday to hundreds of people at the Eastmont Community Center in the LA-area.

And on Wednesday, Nov. 26, actresses Karen Pittman and Adina Porter helped at Feeding America's Thanksgiving volunteer event in Pasadena, California.
