1BEEKMAN, NY – A 38-year-old Beekman man is facing multiple felony charges after deputies say he broke into a local pharmacy, then was arrested again hours later for returning to the same location in violation of a court order.
According to the Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were dispatched around 3:40 p.m. on November 22 to the Total Care Pharmacy at 2859 Route 55 for a reported burglary in progress.
When they arrived, deputies found evidence of a forced entry and discovered that medications had been stolen from the building.
During their investigation, deputies located Ryan T. Gabriel nearby on foot and took him into custody in connection with the break-in. He was accused of causing significant property damage while stealing items from inside the pharmacy.
