A West Lothian woman who suffers from a debilitating condition has had numerous organs removed during her decades-long battle with the disease. Now she is fighting to make a difference.

Candice McKenzie grapples with endometriosis (endo), a chronic disease that causes excruciating pain.

This November, she launched a petition with the Scottish Government urging them to create a database tracking treatments and patient outcomes.

She says there is a lack of effective treatment options, often pushing patients into life-altering procedures.
