A woman who boarded a train in Edinburgh has told of her 'disgust' after opening the door of the ScotRail toilet. Francesca Cozzari, 35, was 'sickened' by the state of the loo after getting the 8pm train home on Saturday, November 22.

Francesca, from Drumgelloch in North Lanarkshire, had been enjoying a day out with her pals and boyfriend and was desperate to use the facilities. She was told the toilet on their carriage was out of service.

A conductor told her one was working on another carriage, reports the Daily Record . Francesca, who has a stoma bag - a waterproof medical pouch that collects bodily waste - was shocked by what she saw after sprinting to it.
