Pro-MAGA television host Gina Loudon suggested that people who couldn't afford high turkey prices on Thanksgiving had a "lack of patriotism" and a "lack of sentimental regard for our pilgrims."

During a Thanksgiving Day segment on Real America's Voice, host Emily Finn noted that "wholesale turkey prices are skyrocketing to an average of $1.32 per pound this year, up about 40 percent from the last holiday."

"As food costs climb, this holiday price hike serves as a reminder that inflation still hits home even at the Thanksgiving table," she pointed out. "It's not Thanksgiving without the bird. You got to have the turkey on your table."

"I think it's certainly disappointing that families may be struggling to put this meal on their table this year."

Co-host David Brody suggested he would be serving empanadas instead of turkey.

"I can only afford an empanada," he insisted.

"Blame it on the economy, David," Loudon replied. "Don't blame it on your lack of patriotism, your lack of sentimental regard for our pilgrims."

"Actually, I don't even think it was turkey, but we think it was turkey," she added. "It's all in our minds."
