2COLUMBUS, OH – Four teenagers are facing charges after police recovered a stolen vehicle and found a loaded firearm inside during an early morning stop on the city’s east side.

Police said the incident began when a grey Ford Fusion was reported stolen November 20 from the 300 block of East Stewart Avenue.

The following morning, around 4:44 a.m., officers responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle in the 200 block of North Monroe Avenue and located the stolen Ford occupied by four juveniles.

As officers ordered the teens out of the car, they discovered a loaded handgun on the driver’s seat.
