A rash of gun violence across New York City Wednesday night saw seven people wounded in just under four hours.
Just after 7:20 p.m., a man and a woman, both 18 years old, were shot at Fulton Street and Jay Street in Downtown Brooklyn.
They were taken to New York-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital.
Police say the shooting stemmed from a verbal dispute.
Around 9:40 p.m. two men were shot outside a building on Ryer Avenue in the Bronx.
The 22 and 23 year old men were taken to St. Barnabas Hospital.
Detectives were talking to two people in that shooting.
Just before 11:20 p.m., a 22-year-old man and 25-year-old woman were shot outside a building on Melrose Avenue in the Bronx.
They were taken to Lincoln Hospital.
