It’s hard to believe that Erasure singer Andy Bell is on his first solo tour of North America.

When he takes the stage at the Vogue Theatre on Dec. 3, it will be the only time he has played Vancouver without Erasure co-founder Vince Clarke in tow.

The chart-topping synth-pop duo celebrates 40 years of making music together next year with some big plans, so Bell thought it best to head out in support of his third release under his own name in advance. He has also made three recordings of his various stage acts under the name Torsten.
