Russian leader President Vladimir Putin has claimed Europe has nothing to fear from Moscow as it has no 'aggressive plans.'

It came despite the brutal invasion of Ukraine , repeated missile incursions into neighbouring countries and covert missions against the UK.

But Putin went on to ridicule the idea Russia might attack on Europe, whilst speaking at the security council of the Collective Security Treaty Organisation in Kyrgyzstan. He said Russia: “doesn't have any aggressive plans towards Europe."
