A Campbell’s Company executive is in hot (soup) water after his shocking rant about the company’s products, its customers and his colleagues were secretly recorded.
Martin Bally, the vice president and chief information security officer, allegedly made the offensive remarks during a meeting in November 2024 that was secretly recorded by Robert Garza, a former cybersecurity analyst with the company who claimed he was fired over complaints about his then-boss.
Bally was allegedly captured on audio describing the soup as “bioengineered meat,” adding, “I don’t wanna eat a piece of chicken that came from a 3D printer,” according to a wrongful lawsuit filed by Garza last week in Michigan.
