Annual Potters Market turns 50
More than 100 ceramic artists and 8,000 visitors are expected to help the Annual Potters Market at the Southfield Pavilion celebrate its 50 th year and 48 th sale Dec. 4-7. One of the country’s largest pottery sales, the event opens Dec. 4 with a $10 preview night from 6 to 9 p.m. Admission is free Friday through Sunday; parking is also free throughout the event, which attracts vendors from across Michigan and surrounding states and features every type of stoneware, porcelain, raku and smoke-fired work.
