JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The First Coast News Weather Team has issued a Weather Impact Alert for early Friday and Saturday morning due to expected freezing temperatures and wind chills in the area.
On Friday morning, wind chills will fall into the 20s with freezing wind chills all the way to the beaches. An inland freeze is also likely north and west of Jacksonville.
On Saturday morning, as polar high pressure moves our way with a lighter wind, expect a widespread inland frost especially west of Highway 17 and inland Southeast Georgia west of I-95. The polar air mass moves out Saturday afternoon with warmer highs near 70 degrees.
