It’s common for a good game of cornhole to get a little competitive when playing with family and friends, but a Chatham man is taking it to the next level.
Brett Castein, 37, is in his first year playing cornhole professionally just three years after taking up the game with family and friends while camping at Paradise Valley trailer park near Forest.
He is one of the pros playing in the American Cornhole League, having earned his spot by being among the top 16 in “pro-points,” playing for the Oktane Pro Team.
Castein said he joined an indoor league in Wallaceburg and played there for a season before starting a league in Chatham called NewEra Cornhole Club.
