Traffic at the North Entry at DFW Airport was back to normal Thursday morning, after the scene on Wednesday night of a sea of red taillights stuck in heavy holiday traffic.
DFW Airport issued a Holiday Travel Advisory telling customers to expect delays approaching terminals.
On Thursday, it was only construction equipment at a standstill. DFW Airport tells NBC 5 that construction activity right now is reduced, and work areas are safely minimized where possible during peak travel periods, including Thanksgiving.
“Our parents, who are in their 70s, said, ‘Hey, why don’t you take the train instead of us coming to pick you up?'” Luke Savage said.
