BARRE, Vt. (WCAX) - A bar in Barre served up Thanksgiving meals to the community on Thursday.
Gusto’s started serving up food at 11 a.m. They planned to go until 2 p.m. but quickly ran out.
The family that runs the business said they’re thankful they can give what they can.
“People appreciate it, and we see a bigger outpouring of it every year of people wanting to give back and contribute in some way, so it’s been pretty cool,” said Jackie Dickinson of Gusto’s.
“It felt good to feed people that can’t afford or just want to have community meals here and stuff,” said Austin, who helped serve meals.
This is the sixth year Gusto’s has offered Thanksgiving to-go meals.
