Salvation Army Captain Robert Coriston said the warm meal offers an escape for some recipients. "Sometimes you can forget the power of a good meal and good fellowship," Coriston said. "For the clients here in the shelter, it's a sense of normalcy and they get to forget about the woes that are going on."
