NAMPA, Idaho — The holiday season is officially underway in Canyon County, where the annual Festival of Trees is lighting up the community and supporting programs that help local seniors.
The Canyon County Festival of Trees brings together families, businesses and volunteers to raise money for Meals on Wheels . This program delivers hot meals to homebound seniors across the region.
This year’s festival opens at 12 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 28, at the Ford Idaho Sports Center in Nampa. Festivities continue until 5 p.m., then resume the next day, starting at 10:30 a.m.
Tickets can be purchased at the door, and vendors accept both cash and cards. Pricing listed on the event’s website is $8 for adults, $5 for children (ages 4-12) and seniors (ages 62+). Families can also purchase collect
