GILBERT, AZ (AZFamily) — Gilbert police say a suspected drunk driver has been released from the hospital and booked into jail after a crash more than two months ago killed a Lyft driver, her passenger, and the rideshare driver’s dog.

Authorities said Thursday that Robb Hintzsche, 35, is facing two counts of second-degree murder, felony endangerment and animal cruelty for the deadly wreck that happened on Sept. 19 near Recker and Ray roads . Police said he was driving drunk at levels more than triple the legal limit.

Police said on that day, Nicole Snell, 36, was working as a rideshare driver and had picked up Marisa Jorgenson, 33. Investigators believe Snell was headed northbound on a green light when she was hit by Hintzsche, who ran a red light headed westbound at speeds estimated b
