BUFFALO, N.Y. — AAA is urging travelers to prepare for potentially significant delays on the return trip home, warning that Sunday and Monday are expected to be the busiest travel days of the holiday period as people head back for work and school.
According to AAA, early morning departures will offer the best chance to avoid congestion. Valerie Puma of AAA Western & Central New York said motorists should plan ahead and ensure their vehicles are fully stocked before hitting the road.
