A person was seriously injured in a dirt bike crash in Carver, Massachusetts, and had to be flown in a medical helicopter to a Boston trauma center on Thanksgiving.

The Carver Fire Department said they worked with police and EMS find the rider, who was far away from any paved roads in a spot that was inaccessible by ambulance.

The injured person was taken from the scene by the fire department's newest UTV, which is equipped to carry victims in a stokes basket, and then transported by Boston MedFlight.

There was no update on the victim's condition, and further details about the crash have not been released.
