TATTNALL COUNTY, Ga. (WTOC) - Crews from multiple fire departments worked to tackle a brush fire that turned into a house fire on Thanksgiving Day.
Evans County Fire and Rescue says the house belongs to the daughter of Battalion Chief Buck Mcdilda, and the family of three lost everything.
The house sits on the Evans County and Tattnall County line in the Manassas area.
Tattnall County Fire, Collins Fire Department , Reidsville Fire Department, Roger’s State Prison Fire, Evans County Fire, and Georgia Forest Commission all responded to the fire.
Evans County Fire and Rescue has shared a GoFundMe page to help the family.
