PORTER RANCH — Police arrested singer Ray J early Thursday on suspicion of making a criminal threat after a profane, live-streamed dispute at his Porter Ranch home with his ex-wife Princess Love over custody of their children, TMZ reported.
The 44-year-old R&B singer and actor, whose real name is Willie Norwood, was arrested at 4:08 a.m. Thursday by officers from the Los Angeles Police Department’s Devonshire Division and booked at 6:38 a.m. into the LAPD’s Valley Jail in Van Nuys, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s inmate information site.
Bail was set at $50,000 and Norwood was released on bond at 11:11 a.m.
According to the live-stream, which was shown on TMZ’s website, Norwood claimed someone was trying to take his children and he was being threatened.
