POLAND Two students attending Poland McKinley Elementary were featured during NBC Nightly News with Tom Llamas on Wednesday, November 26, 2025.

According to a news release from Poland McKinley Elementary, students Francesca and Jane were featured during a segment called "There's Good News Tonight", featuring schools from across the county hosting their own Thanksgiving Day parades.

The students served as hosts of McKinley Elementary's annual Thanksgiving Day parade video, a creative production modeled after the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, aiming to recreate the broadcast style of NBC.

In the video, Francesca and Jane conduct narration, commercial breaks, "street interviews," and a cold open sequence.
