The Philadelphia area is waking up to temperatures near or below freezing on Black Friday. Make sure to layer, layer, layer if you're planning any outdoor activities.

Whether Black Friday shopping, tailgating or going into the Linc to catch the Birds, the winds will be gusting to 40 mph and temperatures will likely feel like they are below freezing all day.

As temperatures continue to drop through sunrise and breezy conditions continue it'll feel like the upper teens to low 20s as you get the day started.

Because so many of you will be outside, the NEXT Weather Team has issued a NEXT Weather Alert for Friday due to the cold and wind.
