Black Friday looks calm and chilly for much of the Northland. Morning temperatures will still drop into the low teens to start off the day, and as we head into the afternoon, we are tracking a mix of sunshine and clouds. With winds remaining a little lighter out of the northwest today, highs will still make it into the low 20s this afternoon, with more clouds moving in tonight.
Saturday will be when we have to keep an eye on the next system. For now, the heaviest snow will remain well south of northern Minnesota, but we will still be brushed by the northern edge of this system. By Saturday afternoon, highs will be in the low 20s with the chance for light snow, but not more than an inch for much of the Arrowhead.
