Aggravated trespassing: Helmsdale Road

At 11:45 p.m. Nov. 16, a woman called police to her Helmsdale Road home. She said that a group of about 15 young people, some wearing ski masks and gloves, entered her home and assaulted her.

The woman said that perhaps two of the intruders had handguns, and one a rifle. She reported that at one point she was punched multiple times in the face.

A female friend who was visiting the woman corroborated her story, but said that maybe as many as 25 young people were inside the home.

The woman who lives in the house told officers of her belief that the couple who lives downstairs in the duplex sent the youths to her house to beat her. She said that she allows the couple to regularly take her car to go to the laundromat. On th
