Carl Gregory was targeted in a shopping centre car park

A Pokémon GO player was brutally murdered after sharing a photo on Facebook, which triggered a vicious row. John Dickson, 27, attacked 20-year-old Carl Gregory in a shopping centre car park in Broadstairs, Kent, placing him in a chokehold and stamping on his head before leaving him for dead.

Carl, who had Asperger's Syndrome and ADHD, died from asphyxiation in October 2016. Just hours before the savage killing, Kent Online reported that Carl posted a picture on his Facebook page of a woman jumping over statues of penises with the caption: "this is how most girlfriends get over their exes (sic)".
