The UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) has shared its latest figures as winter viruses continue to spread across England. In a post on X, formerly Twitter , the health watchdog said flu activity "has increased this week following a dip in recent weeks", adding that there have been more outbreaks in schools and care homes when compared with the previous week.
It also said cases of Respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) have increased, with this now "circulating at low to medium levels across indicators." Meanwhile, Covid continues to spread but case numbers have decreased, with the virus now "circulating at baseline levels."
