West Midlands Police's chief constable and commissioner are to appear before an influential group of MPs on Monday amid demands for 'the truth' over the decision to recommend a ban on Israeli away fans at a football match in Birmingham .

A huge row has blown up amid claims and counterclaims over the decision-making process that led to the ban on Maccabi Tel Aviv fans for the Europa League game against Aston Villa earlier this month.
