An Aldi customer has been left absolutely gobsmacked after noticing the price of a popular festive treat . With Christmas around the corner, supermarket shelves are filled with a number of Christmas favourites.

And while some items are available at discounted prices, allowing shoppers to take advantage of the deals in the lead-up to the holiday, that is not the case for all, as the price of one particular item has left shoppers in shock. Sharing their find on social media, food reviewer @maneatsstringz was browsing around the supermarket when he came across a large 700g box of Heroes chocolates on the store shelf, but was taken aback by the cost.
