A former Wrexham player has opened up on banning Welcome to Wrexham documentary cameras from his house
Former Wrexham skipper Ben Tozer has revealed he banned the club's documentary cameras from his house as he was completely focused on securing promotion. The defender was amongst the Red Dragons' first major captures following their takeover by Hollywood A-listers Ryan Reynolds and Rob Mac .
Tozer dropped down two tiers from Cheltenham to join the then-non-League outfit for a £200,000 fee in August 2021. Wrexham fell short of promotion to the EFL during his debut campaign at the Racecourse Ground following defeat to Grimsby in the play-off semi-finals .
Tozer then played a crucial part as they achieved consecutive promotions from the National League in 2023 and League Two
