FALMOUTH, Maine (WMTW) - A Maine man has been charged in connection with an armed robbery at the Walmart in Falmouth that happened nearly two weeks ago, according to police.
Brian Gallerani, 40, of Portland, was charged Wednesday by the Falmouth Police Department with robbery, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer and criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon.
Falmouth police said that during the robbery on the night of Nov. 14, a masked suspect entered the Walmart on Route 1, showed a handgun and demanded money from a cash register. The money was given to the suspect, who fled the store and left the area in a vehicle, according to police.
Police said Wednesday that Gallerani was already incarcerated at the York County Jail for a probation violation.
