The Edinburgh Fort Kinnaird Winter Village has been forced to remain closed due to high winds in the capital.

Informing visitors on Friday morning, November 28, the team apologised for any inconvenience and said the village will stay shut for the remainder of the day.

It comes after the event was closed on Thursday night due to adverse weather conditions. Guests have been advised to check social media for any further updates.

A message on Facebook reads: "Winter Village Update - Fri 28 Nov.

"Unfortunately due to high winds, The Winter Village remains closed today. Please keep an eye on our Facebook and Instagram stories for further updates.

"For circus enquiries please contact Big Kid Circus. Apologies for any inconvenience."
