An Edinburgh woman has been rushed to hospital after a car crash on Friday morning.
Around 9.13am on November 28, police and paramedics raced to Ashley Street after reports of the incident.
The road was closed for some time while inquiries were carried out. Two ambulances and a rapid response unit were dispatched to the scene.
The 40-year-old female pedestrian was taken to hospital for treatment. Inquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances behind the crash.
Edinburgh Travel News warned locals and motorists on X. A statement reads: "There’s been a crash on Ashley Terrace, at the bridge over the old railway line. The police have closed the road, three ambulances in attendance."
