YOUNGSTOWN - Two houses have burned to the ground following a massive fire in Youngstown early Friday morning.
The fire started around 12:30 a.m. at the homes on West Glenaven Avenue in Youngstown. Heavy flames and smoke poured from both homes as firefighters worked to douse the flames.
Fire crews on scene told 21 News that keeping the fire contained to two homes was a challenge due to strong winds.
Both houses collapsed from structural damage around 2 a.m.
Both homes were vacant and no one was injured in the fire. The cause is under investigation.
