At Bay Park Square Mall, anchor store Kohl’s opened at 5 a.m., while the mall opened its doors at 6 a.m.
Braving the Black Friday crowds isn’t what it used to be.
“It wasn’t as busy as I thought it would be. A lot different than the Black Fridays I used to go to,” Terese Marquardt and Brooke Bartell remarked.
“That was definitely my perspective growing up, kind of a bunch of people crowding around all fighting to get to the deals, but you know it seems to have tone down a little bit, I guess with the online marketplace and shipping to your door and everything on the rise,” Payton Nedobe
