People on certain benefits will begin to notice special payments arriving from the DWP from Monday.

The start of December means millions of households will be getting the DWP Christmas Bonus.

The money is issued to more vulnerable groups including low-income people with disabilities and pensioners.

The Bonus is worth an extra £10 and will be entering bank accounts during December, in time for Christmas.

It's designed to provide some small help with living costs over the expensive festive period.

Households who get PIP, Disability Living Allowance (DLA) and Attendance Allowance are among those who will qualify, along with pensioners.
