DETROIT -- After losing to the Green Bay Packers on Thanksgiving, the Detroit Lions and their championship aspirations find themselves at another critical crossroads.

Detroit’s 31-24 loss to the Packers drops them to 7-5 on the season, including 1-3 in the NFC North, losing four out of their last seven games. They entered the game in third place in the division and on the outside looking in regarding the postseason.

The Lions remain the last time out of the playoffs after getting swept by the Packers on the season. They are 0.5 games in front of the surging Dallas Cowboys, who they happen to face this upcoming Thursday in Detroit.
