A Dover man was arrested Thanksgiving morning after allegedly threatening employees with a gun and stealing cash from a Papa Jay’s Pizzeria on Wednesday, police said.

Brice R. Charest, 36, of 26 Mineral Park Drive, Dover, is charged with one count of robbery, a Class A felony. He is scheduled for arraignment in Dover District Court on Friday.

Dover police claim Charest was armed with a handgun when he went enetered Papa Jay's Pizzeria, located at 18 Broadway, through a rear door around 7:11 p.m. Wednesday and allegedly threatened employees with a handgun before stealing a quantity of cash from the restaurant’s cash register.
