ROLESVILLE, N.C. (WTVD) -- An investigation is underway following a crash on Thanksgiving Day involving a Rolesville police officer.
The North Carolina State Highway Patrol reported that the officer was conducting a traffic stop on Louisburg Road when his patrol car was rear-ended by a car.
The officer, who was inside his vehicle with activated lights, was not injured. The vehicle he had pulled over was not involved in the collision.
The other driver was taken to a hospital. The incident remains under investigation, and charges are pending.
