Thanksgiving evening turned into a moment of celebration for hundreds of Ohio lotto players when a rare Pick 4 result led to large payouts across the state.
The numbers, 0-0-0-0, resulted in a total payout of over $3.1 million as 1,269 players each won $2,500 on Nov. 27, according to a Fox8 report .
The odds of winning by playing a quad combination (0000, 1111, etc.), or a straight bet are 1 in 10,000, according to Ohio Lottery .
Drawings are held daily, seven days a week, at 12:29 p.m. and 7:29 p.m., except on Saturday evening.
